Personal fitting for drum gear
Fulkrum learns how you play, what you already own and what you want to change — then checks your gear against you, piece by piece, and tells you what to keep.
Start with your sticks — the quickest way to see what Fulkrum does. Every answer carries into the rest of your kit.
What Fulkrum fits
Here’s why fitting matters
One example. The same thing is true of cymbal weight, snare depth and pedal drive — which is why Fulkrum fits those too.
Before anything else
Fulkrum does not exist to sell you replacements. It checks the gear on your kit first. Where something already suits you, it says so and you buy nothing. Where something is working against you, it says why — and what would fit better.
An example of what a checked kit looks like — not a real drummer, and not a recommendation.
A suggestion is never written onto your kit. What you own and what we would put there stay separate until you say otherwise.
How Fulkrum works
Everything you tell Fulkrum carries over. You are never asked the same question twice.
Why you can believe it
No brand pays to rank higher, because no brand pays us at all. Where we link to a shop we may earn a small commission — it never changes what we suggest or the order it appears in, and often what we suggest is that you change nothing.

Seven questions about how you play. We take it from there.

Sortable by what is actually true rather than the family name. Heft is our comparable weight figure — worked out from diameter, length, timber density and taper — so brands can honestly sit side by side.
Every stick below is sold as a 5A. They span of diameter and half an inch of length, and their heft runs from 40 to 69 out of 100.
The question drummers ask most, and the one nobody answers properly — because it needs both sets of real numbers and a view on who each stick suits.
About the figures. Dimensions are seeded from published figures and general knowledge and are still being checked model by model against each manufacturer's own spec; the reasoning is sound, the third decimal place is provisional until a model is marked verified. Every product page says which of the two it is. Where we link to a retailer we may earn a small commission, which never changes what we suggest or the order it appears in. Anonymous fitting data. We count answers and gear — never names, never an account, and nothing that can be traced back to you.
